This photo session was extra special to capture because of their sweet love for each other and the many people they consistently care for and serve with big hearts and kind generosity. They have an extra special kind of love that isn't as common in our culture as it once was. It's the kind of love that takes firm commitment, sacrifice, faith, trust, and loyalty. It's the kind of love that is built on the firm foundation of their faith in God.
Love that endures and grows, and deepens over many years of cultivation is one of the most beautiful treasures on earth.
This couple has that kind of love.
They have raised a beautiful family together.
They've given a daughter in marriage and gained a son-in-law, and three beautiful grandchildren.
They have said good-bye to a daughter as she left to do overseas missionary work for months at a time.
They are preparing to say good-bye to their son who heads off to college in the fall.
Through life, they choose love, and joy because of their deep love for God and each other.
They open their home to share their sweet gift of hospitality with many different people.
They have walked through her cancer journey as a couple and as a family.
They choose joy when things are rough. We've witnessed laughter through tears.
We've seen them reach out to others while in the midst of their own battles.
And we've seen them choose joy and laughter in the midst of trials.
This is mature love. It's a choice. It's a commitment. It takes faith and trust in God and each other, and their service to others is the reason it was such an honor to serve them through capturing just a glimpse of their beautiful, authentic, love for one another.
